This project involved the redesign of the cycling track which runs along the length of Ilisos river, in the municipality of Moschato. Here, we aimed both to create new green areas for the local population, as well as to restore and highlight the natural linkages between the urban environment and the river banks, which lie at a lower level than the cycling track. To this end, we created platforms to act as linking spaces and seating areas, surrounded by dense vegetation. New tree and shrub compositions were introduced along the entire length of the river bank, thus substantially enhancing the existing flora.
